Chirk appoint new Goalkeeper Coach

Chirk have appointed a new Goalkeeper coach.
Kieran Howard has been an inspirational coach co-ordinator at Brymbo Lodge Youth Football Club for many years and was recently recognised for his work by being named regional winner of the FAW/McDonald's Grassroots Football Award.
He is a UEFA B Badge holder & also UEFA C GK Coach.
He comes to Chirk at an exciting time for the club with promotion to JD Cymru North and Manager Andrew Pryde was keen to appoint a GK Coach to help bring on the keepers and keep them in top form for matchdays.
Kierans overall coaching experience will be a big boost to the club in general and we welcome him to Holyhead Road
Kieran made a few observations flowing his appointment:
"First of all its a great privilege to be asked to come on board with Chirk.
Before Prydey Rang me there was four offers out there for me. But after speaking with Prydey from his sunbed i was hooked.
His vision for the season and style he wants to play are refreshing. I think a few teams maybe suprised by what we are going to bring to the league.
Every game for me is a cup final, the teams are quality and have players who have great ability. But so do we and the shackles every game will be off to go enjoy it together.
Im looking forward to working with the keepers and putting them through there paces. Prydey has addressed his expectations of the keepers and how he wants them playing. So hopefully myself and more importantly the keepers can deliver this for him.
Its a exciting time at the club and im pleased to be part of the journey with this great football club.
Up the Colliers
Kieran (Squidge)"
