Club appeal for food items for local food cupboard

Chirk AAA FC are keen to support our local food cupboard in Chirk and we are asking our players & supporters to help us in our quest.
The present difficult financial situation that we are all facing means that some families are struggling to put food on the table. So we want to help.
On Saturday, we have a home game. We are asking our players and supporters to bring along some food items so we can donate to the local food cupboard next week.
Our Secretary Nigel Roberts will be your contact.
Typical items that would be ideal are:

  • Cereal
  • Soup
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Tinned tomatoes/ pasta sauce
  • Lentils, beans and pulses
  • Tinned meat
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tea/coffee
  • Tinned fruit
  • Biscuits
  • UHT milk
  • Fruit juice
  • Toiletries

Many thanks for your help
