As part of our FAW Tier 2 Licence Application, we have made several improvements to our facilities and brought our ground regulations and safety evacuation procedures up to current specifications. These are now on show at the ground.
General Manager Mark Holmes and Secretary Nigel Roberts recently met with FAW Representatives at our ground and the first stage of the assessment took place. The assessment includes review of infrastructure, Personnel/Administrative Requirements & Club Legal documents.
Prior to our application the club identified several areas of Personnel opportunities which would be required to bolster our application. This included our First Team Manager Andrew Pryde attending and completing a UEFA B Licence Course which he is currently undertaking. Also our First Aid Officer Darren Ellis has recently upgraded his First Aid qualification to FAW Level 2 on a recent course at Colliers Park.
Improvements which have also been made including a media seating area with desks, a VIP Seating area within our main stand, improvements to our PA/Communication system, First aid & treatment room, matchday office & plans to improve WIFI coverage at the ground.
Facilities for spectators with disabilities have been reviewed and improved including small seating area in front of main changing room area which has wheelchair/mobility vehicle access.
We have created a Safety & Stewarding Policy and appointed a stewarding team for matchdays to ensure all supporters are kept safe on the day.
We are awaiting feedback on first stage assessment and will respond accordingly but the club will not know whether the Licence has actually been granted until mid May.
We would like to thank our partners Kronospan & Richard Burbidge for their continued support in regards to Media Seating Area and VIP Seating Area
