Just an update for all of our supporters to inform you on what's be going on behind the scenes at the club during this lockdown period.
Our new management teams of Andy Pryde/James Williams & Mark Holmes/Paul Lit Roberts have been busy "recruiting" players for the coming season, whenever that may be! The 2 teams are looking very strong but it is not our policy too reveal any new signings until the registration window is open and the signings are over the line - so watch this space! Most of last year's 1st team & U19 squads have committed to remain at the club which is fantastic news with us running 2 senior teams this season.
Our ground staff and volunteers have also been very busy maintaining the grounds, painting, renovating…. And we've also upgraded our Grandstand to 100 seats which overall has resulted us in being awarded Tier 3 Certification for next season. This is a tremendous effort by all and we thank you.
Our Sponsors continue to support us through these difficult times and we thank them all for their continued support which is much appreciated by all at the club. Player sponsorship is a new venture this season with the focus being on player club kit sponsorship, which includes tracksuit, sports bag & training top. Anyone interested in sponsoring one of our players, please contact any club official.
Also in the background, we have been developing a new club website which we hope to launch in the next month. It looks very impressive and should bring in a lot of interest.
Our Monthly Draw continues to be well supported and is drawn on the last Saturday in the month. Prizes are £250, £100 & £50. New members are welcome and should contact any club official if interested.
This Friday we should discover what League our teams will be playing in next season. FA Wales are restructuring Welsh football this next season and it brings an end to our 75 year affiliation with The Welsh National League(Wrexham Area). The restructure means an end to the WNL and we will either be playing in The newly formed Tier 3 Central/North East which encompasses teams from Mid Wales to North East Wales or Tier 4 North East Wales. Our Reserves will, depending on 1st team status, either play in the Tier 1 - 3 Reserve League or Tier 4 Reserve League. We will bring you this news as soon as its in.
Exciting times for all at the club - stay safe and we hope to see you all in the not too distant future.
