Macron/FAW Partnership

⚽️ NEW MATCHBALL PARTNER

The Football Association of Wales (FAW) is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership agreement with sportswear and equipment producer Macron as an official domestic match ball sponsor ahead of the 2020-21 season.

The deal will see the supplier provide all official match balls for JD Cymru Leagues, the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League and the Lock Stock Ardal Northern and the Floodlighting & Electrical Ardal Southern.

The domestic ball deal will see Macron cover a total of 117 clubs across the eight leagues all over Wales.

Macron, who currently have five stores across Wales, will be able to supply clubs with further equipment from their outlets in Llanelli, Neath, Cardiff, Ebbw Vale and Wrexham.

The agreement with the supplier will see all 12 JD Cymru Premier clubs utilise the Macron Earthquake, whilst the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League, the JD Cymru North, the JD Cymru South, the Lock Stock Ardal Northern and the Floodlighting & Electrical Ardal Southern will use the Macron Dew balls for the season.

Macron Country Manager Andy Dyer stated, “We are delighted to secure a new partnership with the associated Cymru Leagues, Welsh Premier Women’s League and Ardal Leagues and comes at a great time with the restructuring of the leagues. We look forward to supporting the association and the clubs of the Football Association of Wales.”
