The Royston Club

Two of our young players, Sam Jones & Tom Faithfull, are part of a 4 piece Wrexham based Indie band The Royston Club, who are climbing the ladder in the music industry with over 200,000 downloads on one tune only and nearly 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify!

In November they embark on a mini UK tour with 3 gigs in Liverpool, Birmingham & London and with their ever increasing popularity, all 3 gigs are now sold out.

They’ll be belting out their stuff prior to their tour with local gigs at Memorial Hall, Wrexham on 8th Oct & Llwyn Isaf, Wrexham the following night.

It's been a difficult time for the band recently with no gigs allowed because of the Coronavirus but they’ve been keeping up their spirits with various demos and covers. Their debut EP ‘This State I’m In’ was released in April and the guys recently spent a week in Liverpool's Parr Street Studios recording some new stuff.

Some of their popular recordings include numbers like Mariana, Kerosene(The Royston Club - Kerosene [Official Music Video]) & Shawshank. These can all be heard via their website or obviously on any of the regular music streams. You tube recordings are also available for various tunes from the band.

We wish them luck in their venture and encourage all our supporters to give them a follow - We're sure you'll be well impressed.
