Chirk suffer second consecutive match

Chirk lost their second consecutive match against a hungry Aelwyd team superbly led by former Chirk player Aled Parry.
Although Chirk dominated possession, it was Aelwyd who had the better chances with Scott Reeves putting them ahead on 38 minutes and substitute Tom Smith securing the points in the closing minutes.
Louie Middlehurst scored Chirks consolation goal in injury time.
Chirk lacked creativity throughout the game and will be disappointed with their general play. Now got a small break over xmas before the next league game on 8th January away to fellow title challengers Caersws.
