Chirk won the local derby against Albion in a tight affair at Holyhead Road.
A goal on 40 minutes from Louie Middlehurst was enough to give The Colliers all 3 points to put them top of the league.
The first half saw both teams embroiled in a midfield tussle with the only chance being a Phil Pearce header which was cleared off the line by Sam Williams.
Middlehurst struck when he chased down a through ball and slotted past the oncoming Harry Thomas.
The second half belonged to the home side and they were guilty of missing some guilt edge chances to increase their lead with Thomas pulling off numerous saves to keep them out.
It finished 1-0 and Chirk must now wait until Sunday 21st August until their next game at home against Hawarden Rangers.
