Chirk suffered their first defeat of the season against last seasons NEWFA Reserve League Champions Hawarden.
Hawarden took a 2 goal half time lead through Brandon Jones and although Chirk pulled back level in the second period through penalties from Harry Jones and Toby Nash , it was Hawarden who took the points with a late winner from substitute Greg Watson.
Chirks next game is away to Llay Welfare next Sunday 2.30pm kick off.
